Good game! There is one bug in it though, sometimes when you reach higher speed you may get pass the laser barriers without getting hurt. One advice for the construction of the momentum if you would ever want to make a sequel: check the Gravity Den game here on Newgrounds.

Nice classic-type submission, there aren't many of them (or any?) these days. One thing: there is something wrong with the redirecting link of the front page suggestion thread. While all the written numbers and letters are ok, clicking on it throws you to this address: https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/www.yoursite.com

Little-Rena responds:

I swear I make the dumbest mistakes! Thanks for pointing this out, I have corrected it now! As for classic-type submissions, that's what I have returned to offer to the portal!

Something is definitely wrong with the medals, for example I received the one for 500 jumps before the medal for 250 jumps. Maybe add a counter to the game showing how many times did the player jump or die.

And probably the medal for collecting 100 bananas is not working.

MixonTech responds:

Thanks for feedback, 100 banana medal now work :)

It was a weird move to upload a new game using the same ids of both that broken cowboy game and even its medals.

It also looks like it caused one problem: your game is not included among other "under judgment" games.

By the way: your game again is not saving progress, I left it for a moment and it is all gone.

Those new modes and 2 medals are definitely a nice addition to the game, but on the other hand makes it a bit annoying: you have to finish both without dying while the camera view is not always fluent. Also some micro-lags are sometimes present that make the game not recognize 3rd or 4th click.

Several things before I was even able to play the game:
1. I am always using Firefox, but after the game loaded to 100% nothing happened, like you wrote the "play" button didn't even show up;
2. Then several times I saw a notification that the game is slowing down the browser, so I had to close the tab to even be able to write this review;
3. I read the information about the controls: you should also enable a scheme for people that do not like the wad keys and prefer arrows keys controls;
4. About the medals: I assume that the further the game goes the more difficult the levels are becoming, so the points value of the medals should be different for different levels depending on their difficulty.

PS

The game finally loaded, but it lags horribly. Additionally the dolphin constantly gets stuck between the platforms or even inside the platforms.

BTW. Why am I able to shoot if the bullets are not killing any of the opponents?

GoodL responds:

Thanks for the review, and I understand all of your complaints completely. I don't mean to defer blame entirely, because it's certainly true that I am really a pretty bad programmer, but a lot of the issues here can be chalked up to bugs/shortcomings of the Wick Editor. I'm almost certain that the lag and slowness issues have to do with the fact that Wick has some kind of error where all of the art gets saved as a new file in the project every time you copy and paste it, meaning that the Wick file itself has hundreds of the same image files saved (like, the ground blocks, or each frame of every one of the character animations). There really wasn't much i could do about that other than scrap all of the art from the game.
About the control schemes, I completely agree and that's something I'll be doing in future projects. Thanks for the suggestion!
And lastly, you can actually kill the robots that walk, it just takes 10+ shots. In retrospect, I should have made it lower.
Thanks again for taking the time!

Interesting game, but with one major flaw: it gets laggy after a while to the point when even clicking on in-game buttons is taking effect after a massive delay. I even had to collapse the game to write this review, because the tab with the game temporarily stopped responding.

PS

It looks better now. One suggestion: add a "restart" button below the "home" one after you lose; one bug: when my character hit the shroom with coins and rotated himself he stayed flipped.

Oh, obviously the scoreboard is not working.

thelonelynug responds:

Gonna fix this right now as I have not encountered this on mobile. Thanks for reporting this and also taking time to play my game!

Edit: Thank you for reevaluating. I will look into your restart button suggestion as it totally makes sense. I have encountered the mushroom bug and will work to fix it in a future update. I appreciate your constructive critique!

Leaderboards are good to go :)

Like others I have to say that in comparison to your other games with real photos used this game was just extremely easy, no challenge here, everything obvious.

Besides, there is one error in the map: you are moving to the E room from C room, not from D.

1. The game clock is definitely wrong. I am barely playing it for 10 minutes and it already gave me the medals for playing for 15 minutes and even an hour;
2. At the moment when the medal pops up the game lags extremely.

PS

As for the issue mentioned by @blyndid - medals are worth 0 points as long as they haven't been tested. You need to earn them by yourself, meaning play the game for 2 hours and get 2000 points to unlock them and make them show their real points value.

ONE MORE NOTE:

The time medals would not be such a pain if the game was actually saving and remembering the time you spent playing it.

EdThePro101 responds:

I have fixed the issue! Thank you so much for telling me!

The game has an idiotic bug that extremely often prevents you from getting higher scores: at some point your score simply freezes no matter how many times you jump over the dog or how many letters you collect.
