What can I say? Classic ;-) Just two things:
1. Once when I hit the ball in the way in which it touched the panel corner to corner the game freezed;
2. Maybe adding a mouse control?

Thanks for your review!
I added mouse control and fixed that bug :) Now there should be no more bugs included.
Generally a great job! Enjoyable, fully playable, you can even "create" interesting attack actions while jumping, maybe it's not Tekken or something like that, but it's still cool ;-) Only two remarks:
1. Why there is no pause button in the game?
2. A bit annoying is the fact that every time you die you have to start from the beginning.
The game is well-designed, the idea is also interesting, it reminds the old RPG-type card games, but for me two things definitely need to be fixed:
1. The miles counter is not showing the progress of travelling, it is stucked on 140 and
2. You should definitely add more water finding probability to the game, because I already have tons of food and no water and I cannot rest without losing health. Besides, why do resting needs water and food? Travelling would be an entirely differrent story.
Almost 4 stars, because for me the game is unique.
I decided to give this game two stars and give it a chance to be further developed, what I hope will happen. The cutscene at the beginning is quite well done in the matter of story-telling. But I also have my remarks about the things that need to be improved:
1. This grabbing... is it really necessary? I tried multiple times and I couldn't reach the platform, although I was definitely reaching it with Pete, but nothing happened, why not a good old double-jump or something like that?
2. After too much deaths: why do I have to refresh the site to try to play again? Does it happen also on the further stages of the game?
3. Maybe a mute button would be useful or better music?
4. If there are certainly 30 levels and You plan to add medals, then maybe add some for some parts of the game completed?
When upgraded - let me know, will be back :-)
Well this game was made for a short development project at school, and they have the .FLA so I won't be able to update it - but don't worry, I'll be adding all your suggestions to Pixel Pete Junior! Thanks for leaving a review.
P.S - Ledge-grabbing becomes pretty easy once you get the hang of it!
This game has an awesome potential, also for development, but I found some things that could be improved:
1. At the beginning in the tutorial there is no information on how to kill aliens that landed on the ground from the destroyed spaceships, I tried to run on them (but I have no pistol), to hit them with a cannon and accidentally I found out that you simply need to jump on them;
2. Something that needs fixing: with the mouse aiming on, every time when I am using a cannon and I try to click on menu or the next wave button I am also shooting, losing ammo;
3. For these levels end modes, maybe more medals? Like halfway there in one mode or for the number of enemies shot down?
4. For me, the man could move a bit faster and maybe some improvement of the jumping, now it looks like we are on the moon with low gravity, or we are using a jetpack ;-)
5. Maybe some upgrades during the game for the cannon or for the turrets?
But nevertheless it is already a piece of a great job!
Thanks herbie, yes you make some good points here. it was a bit lazy for me not to fix the tutorial but the green slime guy was actually added in once the game was released on Armor, I saw him on Folmer Kellys game Stack Bunnies http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/636561 and he was nice enough to let me use him.
The mouse to shoot issue is a good point, ill see if i can fix it. I may add More medals in, i think i still have to points to use up.
I spent a long time messing around with the jumping, I think this is good as i can get it, its not on the moon but it is on some distant planet, maybe they have weird gravity there.
Thanks for playing!
Now this is trully awesome! A fantastic platform/shooter with a "climate", the player is constantly curious what will be next and this is just powered up by the communicates from the "computer being" that seems to control all that "structure" and its robots. Challenging and relaxing at once. Obviously great graphics, fully professional, and as I found out, submitted by the Author of another game I like very much - The Birdinator. The only minus is that some levels are loading for a bit too long. Oh, and You should definitely add medals to this game, it deserves them! Once again: great job!
