Interesting intro and then rather a boring game, I would rather expect stages with running and shooting. In this formula it would be better if there were power-ups to pick, like faster shooting, faster movements, maybe time-limited invincibility and/or upgrades possible to buy after killing a certain amount of enemies.

markais responds:

Thanks for the comment. I actually thought of the purchase thing but I was hoping to integrate it to the story. I appreciate your comment and hopefully be able to integrate it in other games. Thank you.

One basic question: how do I control the penguin?

DeadlySeriousMedia responds:

The controls are: arrow keys/mouse

What are the keyboard cntrols in this game? Because by using only mouse and clicking the hands the game is unplayable. After a while I figured that a and d work, but it would be better to enable the arrows as well.

LazorGorillaStudios responds:

A is left and D is right. I will add more descriptions and arrow support ASAP. Sorry for the inconvenience.

This is great! I intentionally stopped clicking to let the rocket go and gain speed by itself and just enjoy the ride. And after returning to Earth I say that this journey was EPIC! I could listen to this music for hours and read these hillarious dalogues, they should make a movie based on the characters from this game!

DarkTimmy responds:

Aw - HAHAHAHA - Thank you! Really appreciate it when people take a moment to write and say a few nice words. Makes my day! If you like, check out my blog here for the news on my latest game - a sequel to Boss 101 with the Cosmic Clicks crew! Best, -Tim

Game with a big potential, great graphics.
Upgrades needed:
1. Definitely mouse aiming and firing!
2. Strafing option;
3. Upgrades to buy after waves.

docster619 responds:

Thanks, these will be upgraded soon.

I would give more if it was a game with normal movement instead of taping/clicking that reminds the flappy bird and its clones (c'mon people, enough of this type of games). The graphics of crashes is good ;-) The problematic thing is that after "game over" to restart the game I need to refresh the website, what can be annoying. Oh, BTW, why is that my browser is informing me that your site asks for a permission to store some information in the offline mode? What information?

TreSensa responds:

Please refer to this helpful page on managing HTML5 offline storage: https://developers.google.com/chrome/whitepapers/storage

A great, intelligent thing, you've got to really think how to solve it. I got to the end of this game but not without moments of frustration ;-) For me some of the levels were a bit a matter of luck. But it definitely could have even more levels or even a sequel :-)

AthleticDesign responds:

Great to hear that someone made it all the way! Originally I planed to have 50-100 levels but the game went into a long hiatus. Two weeks ago I decided to complete the game but make it much smaller and then hopefully make a second part depending on the feedback and reception on the first one.

The game is interesting, but very, very unclear, especially when it comes to medals, that's jus my opinion. My thoughts:
1. In "how to play" there is a suggestion that if I will play fast enough I will get more time. Either I am still too slow or it doesn't work because I didn't notice any time bonuses or something.
2. What is the relation between the scores in the game and the points on Newgrounds highscore list? By the way, there is no spoon I mean the list for Fast 50 or Dash, or maybe it is the list in the game but if it is then how do I know if these are my best scores or is it a summary list? If the latter, then which score is mine? There is no highlight of the latest score.
3. Analysing for example the 500 Runner medal, what does it mean that I have to score 500 in infinite? How players should understand that?
4. The number one medals: again - not understandable, number one on a highscore list?
The game definitely needs some upgrades and more explanation, but I can say it is an interesting thing to play.

TheeSeaverShow responds:

Ill make the medals more clear...
For the time, if you get 20 /40/60.. etc in infinite mode, 10 more seconds is added to the clock so your can continue. (Each 20 tiles you click, 10 seconds will be added )

The highscores for 50 and 100 are not currently working because newgrounds does not allow for already formatted scores. The score are saves by sec/decimal, newgrounds doesnt allow for this. i am trying to rework the code to use milliseconds so i can incorporate highscores for all mode, but for now only the infinite mode has a scoreboard on the site, for the other 2 modes, scores are within the game.

Thank you for your feedback, I may be PMing you when i rework it for a second opinion and some more suggestions. But thank you HerbieG for taking the time to review this.

Interesting game and not so easy one, still trying to solve it. At the moment all seemed logical - and it was, I've got still some "green lights" left. Some thoughts:
1. The names of items display would be useful;
2. I don't know if it was intended - I cannot enter the higher floor ventilation shaft after unscrewing it, maybe that's why I'm a bit stucked now.

Axelmadness responds:

1) maybe update the game with things with names.

2) You can not get there because a fall
xD tranki the game goes to 100% then you will know what I say to you that you can not get in there. =)

4 stars for the work already done and for the great potential of this game. Three remarks:
1. The game could definitely work faster, especially attack;
2. Is there a pause option?
3. With improved graphics this idea definitely would rock and kick ass at the same time! ;-)

kkots responds:

You can press Space to pause.
The tutorial level explains that.

Thanks for feedback! I agree with your points concerning the graphics/speed of the game.
One should be able to notice that it lags quite a lot.
