Looks good, but I admit I would be happy if I could use arrow keys without having the screen move up-down (or add a full-screen option?). That would also deal with another problem: the screen is a bit too large.

Thanks for the review! I'll update the game later today to add fullscreen
@JimmyCarlos - you messed up one thing with the medals: I got the Underworld Navigation medal for just starting the game, it's ID is probably switched with Welcome to Hell.
PS
By the way, to the author: there is no other way to reset the game than to reload the tab.
Heya HerbieG, thanks for the response! I've fixed the problem with the ID switch, the right medals now unlock. I've also majorly refactored the code of the project so that the reset game button now works properly. Let me know if it works now? :-)
At its current stage getting most of the medals is way too easy. The only one that requires more time is the one for getting 50 oz of milk, but I assume there will be more updates/modules added, so at some point even this medal will be quite easy to get,
Your game clearly reminds me of this one:
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/605618
but that game is much better in many ways. The main problem is that the smaller fish you can eat at the very beginning are awfully scarce. It already tells the player that it will be too long than it should be thus not that enjoyable. And it even poses a risk that the game will disconnect from NG not awarding the final medals.
PS
After playing it for a while I managed to upgrade my shark to higher levels, so it is manageable. So far I can tell that the medal for eating another shark is not working. You should have tested all the medals by yourself before releasing the game.
I just updated the game to make it ping the Newgrounds API every 5 minutes or so.
Hopefully that fixes the problem.
It's awesome, but... why there is no progress saving?
levels are completed in less than 10 minutes. game saves only between levels.
It's not that bad. I only had few thoughts while playing it:
1. You could think of adding a counter of zombies killed/time played;
2. As for the 1 hour medal: it can happen that your game will disconnect from NG at that time;
3. If you are shooting to the left (machine gun) the animation of the bullets looks fine, but if you shoot to the right the bullets look like they are being fired from below of the gun.
Oh, I like the Agatha Christie's reference when you die.
Ah, good tips. Just keep in mind that the Bullet position glitch is unfixable, and a problem with the engine.
Once again when it comes to your games and the date-related medals: mind the time zones. It is already 23rd for me while it is probably still 22nd for you.
Yeah, my intention was to have this up earlier today, that's my bad. Still, at least now you have a reason to visit next year!
Happy madness day herbiG :)
Err... checkpoints maybe? After each 10 puzzles? One thing would be useful: L-click - rotate clockwise, R-click - rotate counterclockwise. Also... can you unlock all of these medals? ;-)
And: is the game storing data about the player's highest score? I mean if the game disconnects from API at 40-50 puzzles solved...
Yes it saves your best score and gets uploaded when you see the gameover panel. So if you restart the game your best score gets uploaded again.
Here my best score here is 21 but I went beyond while playtesting :P
