The game itself is good but I am taking a whole star because of one nasty thing: the beginning of levels like drag. I'll never understand why authors keep putting such flashing lights effects in their games if they know that it can affect somebody's health? You didn't even bother to place a seizure warning anywhere...

PS

Star given back. By the way, do you know that you can update Unity games without having all the players' saved data deleted? Check this post:

crow-seeds responds:

A whole star, dang. Fixed the visual effect in "Drag" to be less intensive on the eyes. I checked the other levels to see if there were any effects that could cause seizures, not sure what other level's beginnings have flashing lights like you claim. Please give a list of parts of levels that could hurt someone's eyes! I'm trying to fix them as soon as possible, it's not my intention to affect the player's health!

Stop submitting games that are barely functional and stop adding broken medals to them.

Interesting, but it could give at least some clues of what is the goal of those minigames.

Well, it is not as good as it could have been. Here's why:
1. If you try to use the arrow keys the screen is going up/down;
2. Bad thing is that you can only shoot in horizontal lines, not vertical;
3. The game would be much better if it was more a top-down shooter where you use the mouse to target and shoot;
4. Finding the right order of those tiles to unlock upgrades is a bit tedious and a bit inconsistent. Sometimes the tiles are simply becoming "blocked", you cannot step on them, sometimes you can activate a tile by stepping on it from one side but not the another, no idea what exactly causes them to deactivate again... I could not find any rile here.

tadgamers responds:

Thank you so much for your feedback! If you walked over some spots and they stayed red, and then went out of that level and came back, then those red spots would not be re-doable, generally the sequences have to be done the first time you reach a level. When you step on any wrong tile, the whole sequence starts over, all turn back blue, when stepping correctly they will continue to turn red until all are red. Thank you very much for playing!

The game has a problem of some sort with sending scores and medals. I noticed that my scores are not being sent, so I reloaded the game. But the scores are still not being sent and after I won the 5th game the medal did not unlock. I'm on Chrome, because on Firefox the game does not save progress for me. Maybe try to add a button with medals/scores re-sending function?

McpoyleGames responds:

Hmm just got 10 win medal, didnt unlock at first but went to high score and back to medal and was unlocked. But yea i can put in a button to unlock and post. Thx HerbieG

I would be grateful for adding arrow keys controls as well.

HAGER-NG responds:

Fixed

Few pro-tips regarding the save medal, since it works in a very weird way. To even trigger this you need to get your health to a very low level, then you will see it as an option to pick after a wave is over. But: the saving feature worked for me on Chrome, but not on Firefox. What's more, I could not unlock this medal on Chrome, either after loading the game or without it. On Firefox it worked for me after I picked the "save" choice, but did not die to the very end. Thus: You can get this medal on Firefox if you get your health to an almost-die level, pick the save option, but not die at all and finish the game.

I'm not sure if it is only my computer, but the way in which the paddle is moving makes me have a feeling that it is somewhat... glued to the ground, responds too slowly, with a delay. I remember playing good old lbreakout for example and in that game I had a perfect control over the paddle and even the fastest balls were not a problem.

Mwape123 responds:

Sorry about that, perhaps could be newgrounds server or your computer because the game was tested months ago on low end computer of resolution 720px and Ram of 2gb, it was running smoothly and everything was working accordingly to the expectations, but I'll try to to upload the game just hoping it won't affect others leaderboard.

You may check the video on our Instagram @g_dev_journey, so that you could see how it is running.

Thank you for spotting that out, we will do our best to optimize the game for you.

Cool project, but:
1. The energy loss seems a bit too fast, especially when you need to clear some bombs in front of you;
2. Speaking of bombs: the game can put you in front of a barrage of bombs that simply cannot be passed without getting yourself killed;
3. It's a bit inconsistent when the board rotates.
Did you actually manage to reach depth 300?

AnderssonKev responds:

Thank you!

1. I can tweak the energy loss a bit.
2. You'd think so but you can actually get past all obstacles. A tip would be to activate one bomb and step aside, then when the other ones are triggered you just move to where the destroyed one was.
3. The board should rotate once you reach 3-4 tiles to the side (I think)

300 is difficult... might be too tough, I'm thinking about making it a little easier to get into.
Thanks for your feedback!
