The game itself is good, but I am experiencing something weird, it's about controls. When I get knocked down and get up the left/right movement is not working for me or starts to work with a solid delay.

At first I voted 4 for this game since it looked like well-made. An interesting idea, some mind-twisting puzzles, great potential. But after I played this game for some time I have to take away whole 2 stars. Because of the coding issues that make the game really messed up.
1. The game is not saving progress on any browser. Do you expect the players to beat the whole game with all stars in one sitting? I consulted this problem with other users, so it is a general issue. I already PMed the author about it, but did not care to respond.
2. The display of the already passed levels is wrong. When you pass for example 16 levels with all stars the level select will show you that you passed only 10-11 levels and the last one passed will be marked only with 1 star. Also as @yound mentioned, he couldn't play the last levels of world 1 since the game was just looping the already passed levels.
3. When I finally finished world 1 I wanted to go further, but the game just crashed leaving me with only a blue screen (of death?) and since the game is not saving I lost all of my progress when I reloaded it.
Unless these issues will be fixed, playing this game is just a waste of time.
Lag + screen shaking + lack of performance optimization => unresponsive controls at the later stage
= game wreckage.
As an experimental project it may be good, but...
I'll never understand the purpose and reason of adding medals to the "games" like this. I mean what skills are required to get them if the "game" is totally random? By getting those medals how can anybody say that is better in any way? Has better skills, mind power, reflexes? It is only a matter of the "game"'s mood if you get them or not. There is no strategy possible, especially when you try to get the "no deal" medal.
Medals should be allowed only in games that actually require some skills to get them.
I would really like to be able to change the background, it really makes my eyes tired after a very short time.
1. The medals are not working.
2. Since the game seems to take some time you need to implement an option to save progress.
3. There is a desperate need for an ability to pick and relocate already placed turrets.
The game itself has a potential, but you need to develop it in the right way.
Hi HerbieG,
I've updated the plugins so the medals should work now, and i'll try to include save options in the full game.
Nice and challenging game, not too frustrating, maybe except 2 or 3 levels with that bouncing required, it was sometimes acting in a weird way. But I have to write something: I just can't believe that the author did not fix that medal issue for over 3 years...
No review since 2013? Time for a new one :-)
Well, that was a nice rush! Challenging, but not extremely frustrating. A good advice: logic first. At first try to understand how the current level works, what sequence do you need and then just perform the action as fast as you can. Everything is 100% logical.
The game has several flaws though:
1. Many times, especially when you need to pick the mushroom very fast you are failing. It seems that the game requires you to stop for at least a microsecond and then you can do the change and continue;
2. Sometimes it also seems that the game makes you still continue moving despite you have already released the key;
3. Also the hitboxes seem to be very weird, especially of the... mosquitos?
Oh, another advice: don't give up when you have a feeling that you made some time improvement on a level, but the timer is already showing you the same time you have finished the level earlier. Apparently the game is very accurate in time measurement, so actually you may make an improvement of tenths of a second that can really matter if you want to get all the medals.
Seriously... the laws of physics have been applied terribly in this game, especially the law of conservation of momentum.
