C'mon guys, this game is not bad, I can see a potential in it. There are only few things that bother me:
1. You should add arrow keys controls;
2. Does the medal actually work? Did you test it by finishing the game?
3. If you will make the game too long, then - if the game won't be saving progress - there is a great risk that when somebody will actually finish it - won't be awarded, because the game will simply disconnect from Newgrounds before that.
4. As for what "100% Done" means: on one level I missed a tricky coin placed just next to the level exit - will all coins be also required for that medal?

FerTheDripGuy responds:

Basically i have the option to unlock it for you, and i dont know how to make the acheivments work.

Dont worry, that last coin was to test if you would fall for it.

We had arrow keys on the 1st version.

I basically can't make a checkpoint or make something to save progress, plus your playing the outdated version, the 13th is the most recent one yet.

Quite a good game we got here. It only needs one thing: local saving between sessions.

poolfish responds:

Thank you. I wasn't aware of the Newgrounds cloud save feature in the API tools when I converted my game to Newgrounds, just focused on medals and score boards, and frankly I don't know how to implement it yet. But I will investigate it. Can't promise it will happen today or any time soon since I'm working on another project.

1. Add arrow keys controls;
2. Change the attack button, pressing space on Firefox moves the screen down (you can also lock the screen).

PS

Well, sadly you did not improve the game in any of these ways.

xristos responds:

Thanks for the feedback!

You just have to add saving for this. It's annoying if you are near the max number of coins collected, run out of time and then have to start from the very beginning. I'll rise my score if you'll do it.

LeviRamirez responds:

not in this but the full game for sure, glad you liked it for what it is! :-)

You need to add an alternative button for jumping, like up arrow or z, because on Firefox pressing space makes the screen move down. Or you could lock the screen to prevent that from happening.

Miroko responds:

Thank you so much for bringing that to my attention! I added Z as jump/grab.

A small question: could you add arrow keys as controls?

Scootakip responds:

Arrow key support is in!

Looks interesting, but it lags like hell. You're simply moving at the speed of a snail.

dtsudo responds:

Yes, unfortunately the game can be a bit laggy (depends on computer specs and which browser you're using -- Firefox is particularly slow).

I think I have some ideas for some optimizations although in other cases, I might have to just accept that the game has higher spec requirements than one might expect. (For the technically inclined, a lot of the performance cost comes from the performance penalty of transpiling C# code into javascript.)

Not bad gameplay, but:
1. Pressing space on Firefox moves the screen down;
2. Entering the shop should pause the game;
3. There could be a meter showing the remaining distance.

Kuchyfloo responds:

the space thing moves the page or inside the game?
it could be a firefox problem

when entering the shop, the animation of the upchuks still runs but not the object

the post-jam update is still not ready

Awesome sequel! You only need to take a look at one critical bug: if you die with an arrow key pressed during respawn the main character can be pushed far away from the checkpoint, even outside the game screen forcing the player to reload the game.

FluffyLotus responds:

I'm happy you liked it! I'll look into that bug, especially if it's causing people to reload the game.

One major suggestion: W for jumping. Space is ridiculously inconvenient.

hatoving responds:

Sure!
