The only bad thing: the screen is wayyy too big.

Belthagor responds:

What resolution would you prefer it at? You can press control and minus button (-) or control and plus button (+) to resize it.

lajbel responds:

Fixed

One thing is extremely infuriating: why can't I simply put down a piece that I am holding in my hand on one of the 4 free spots? Why the game refuses to allow me to do so instead forcing me to hold it until I put it on the board?

LeSam responds:

It should be be a bit more logical in the latest release (hopefully). Feel free to try again if you want :)

Thanks for playing!

Not bad for a start, but the player's movement speed even with shift is ridiculously slow.

asp-ofc responds:

yeah, I will make the player faster

Surprisingly fun! I would only wish for an option to switch wasd/arrow keys to punch with wasd and move with arrows. Oh, as I noticed on the highscores board few people reached scores over 10 000, but that medal was not unlocked by anyone, which means the higher medals can be broken.

WallOfMouthes responds:

hihi, i've added keybinds so you can swap wasd and the arrow keys manually, thx for the suggestion! Some people on the leaderboard don't have medals since i added medals quite a bit after i added the leaderboard which already had 10,000+ scores. They should work (hopefully).
Thanks for the review!

edit: i am dumb. They are broken but I can't find the reason why. I'm still looking into it atm, apologies. (edit 2: the new update hopefully finally fixes the medals issue)

Much better made than Lava Rise. The only problem is that currently both medals and scoreboards are not working.

PS

The fact that the game is under judgment doesn't matter at all.

BuzzGame responds:

I'm so glad you enjoyed it better, Yes they're currently not working because it's still under judgement

Looks nice! Just one thing: camera view rotation is a must in such a game.

BryceSummer responds:

I'm going to push an update out very soon with the ability to zoom/rotate the camera while you are stationary in order to find eggs. I'm going to make it so that the camera snaps back to the default when you start moving though -- as the levels were meant to be played from that perspective... However, do let me know if you disagree with that design decision -- I could still potentially make it so the camera controls persist while you're moving too.

Thanks for the suggestion!

You should listen to people saying that the "random disappear glitch" is caused by the game and not by any browser. If the game is properly coded such a thing should not happen. I entered the game, did not switch any windows/tabs, yet every 2-3 games my dino just disappears or teleports to the left or right border of the screen just by touching a platform above. It can even happen that I just begin a new game, dino makes ONE jump and after touching the next platform just vanishes.

BuzzGame responds:

Finally after digging a lot I think I found the bug and tackled it so it would be great if you can verify that the glitch is no longer there,

I really listen to each review but the thing with this bug is that I didn't encounter it myself so it makes it so hard to identify the problem and develop a solution for it.

It would be good if arrow keys also worked, not only A and D. After I finished the tutorial the game just continued on a blank screen, not returning to the main menu. On some occasions it is only a matter of luck whether you will choose the right side to continue falling.

HiimLuki responds:

Arrow keys are working now. I try to reproduce/fix the blank screen bug to make the game as pleasant as possible!

Has a potential, but there are way too many blind jumps. You got no idea which way you are suppose to go, where is the next platform located, so it leaves you with pure trial & error.

MistaCooParasonF5G responds:

well yea I could see that but this game is supposed to be trial and error but I don't want people to lose on the little jumps cause those aren't even obstacles but some of the actual obstacles I made are supposed to be trial and error but I will fix the little ones

Seems a cool game, but with some issues. 2 are most important: it is ridiculous to have to reload the game even few times because it fails to load the language pack. And having customizable controls would be useful, because having space for jumping and left shift for dashing is a bit inconvenient.

PS

A third thing: the game needs to be saving progress.

Spebby responds:

Heya! Thanks for the kind words, and yeah, the language thing is annoying. Thankfully, the game seems to load language fine after the main menu, seemingly the game loads the main menu before the language is fully loaded sometimes. This will be fixed in the future. Key Rebinding was on the to-do list, so we may add it sometime soon. Saving progress is a bit more difficult to implement due to WebGL's limitations, but we'll likely figure something out. It's also complicated by the speedrun timer and other factors, but it shouldn't be that big of an issue if we actually think about it. Thanks again!
