Another nice game with good puzzles :-) The only minus is the fact that the final medal is not working.

selfdefiant responds:

Fixed, thanks!

2 things:
1. Make a level select. It would make easier to get the 100% medals.
2. Definitely remove those graphic elements from the lower border of the screen! If you want to go that way - and sometimes you have to - these elements are covering the way you are going and you don't know if there is anything in front of you or not.

SMKS responds:

Removed graphic elements as you suggested!

1. Optimize the game. At a certain point with lots of projectiles on the screen the game becomes almost unplayable.
2. One stupid, ridiculous thing: if you upgrade yourself just a little bit too much you are killing the boss too early to get all stars! Now what? Am I supposed to reset all the progress and start from the scratch? There should be at least enough minions to get them. Generally, stars on the boss levels like these is not a good idea. In case described by me: at least add a button for resetting upgrades without resetting the progress of the game. -- star for this issue.
3. It is possible to move to the border of the screen and not be able to move anymore.
4. Another bug: few times the game displayed both the victory and defeat screens.

Frozennnn responds:

Thanks for the feedback i will upload a new version with some modifications soon like, the hard combo x30 some players cant beat and like you say boss its easy after upgrades, i will put the boss life relative to the upgrades and some other problems you say me

Thanks for play the game, and give me a very helpfull review

I must say that after your Atomic and Follow my lead games, which I really enjoyed, because they required thinking, this one is like a step back. I personally never liked those key-mashing games. First levels were easy, but for the latest ones and the time limit... sorry, ain't destroyin' the keyboard of my laptop for this, I respect my computer too much to do it :-)

blit-blat responds:

Haha, yeah you do have to suffer some wear & tear on your keyboard to complete this game! ;) And yeah, while this is different from Atomic and Just Follow My Lead I wouldn't say it's a step back, a step sideways certainly. It's always nice to try new things though! :)

Really simple, but the controls are a bit too "heavy", the movement speed is too slow.

I got a proposition for you: work with the players to create the versions of this game in various national languages and then this game will be 100% fair :-) You should also consider that there are some differences between the spelling of words in traditional English and its American version.

shajby responds:

Thanks for your comment :). Well I know that some words are spelled differently in British and American English but I think that I was quite careful to not include such words in this game. But if you find such a word let me know please :)

Generally it's not bad, simple but nice endless runner, reminding a bit these games in which you jump from one roof to another. The controls are a bit weird, you got a feeling that before jump the character is a bit glued to the ground. There is also one irritating thing with the medals: their pop up makes the game slow down like hell. Unfortunately it happens even when you already have a medal, if you reach 50 points again it obviously doesn't show the medal again, but is behaving in the same way: extreme slow down. Oh, one illogical thing: why is the 420 points medal worth only 5 points while for 100 points you get 10? :-)

The idea may be good, but not well-executed. As it was already mentioned, many puzzles have more than 1 solution and it is unacceptable. I could present you plenty of examples of levels in which you can place all required squares in a way in which everything when it comes to numbers will be 100% ok, but the game won't recognize it as a solved level.
A picross that is well-made should be constructed in a way in which the numbers and their logic should lead the player to the solution of getting a certain image, while here it is quite the opposite: many times you have to guess what image was the Author thinking about, because not-definitely not-every single one of them can be solved using only pure logic. You even admit it in one of the clues that sometimes the logical thinking may be not enough - and that's the point: in all good picrosses logical thinking should be just enough to solve it completely without forcing the player to guess. It's like solving them with a trial and error method.

I am going to put lots of good words about this game, because it really deserves them. You should definitely tag it as an rpg, because despite very limited locations it is an rpg game. The fact that even strengthens this statement is that as you suggest the game is not linear.
The best way to play this game is to begin in the evening to feel the atmosphere of running through the night with the more and more complicated game plot. At one moment you are really starting to feel the heavy atmosphere of the city, feel the pain of existence of people living in it. Ever heard of the writer Thomas Pynchon? In the game you can feel something like the heavy atmosphere of one of his famous books, "Crying of lot 49". I could also compare this game to movies which action is taking place during one night, even only few hours, like "Collateral" for example. The game is great. Absolutely great.

Very nice, unique and interesting idea! Respect for the Author, too bad that isn't mentioned who made this. The game itself sometimes even helps the player, because the color "pools" can move from place to place. It is also important to look around in some levels, because after being sure that you already passed a level you may come to a conclusion: What? There was something in this corner? ;-)
