1. The achievements are messed up, you get awarded with wrong medals for not the correct achievements;
2. The upgrade system: in these games you always buy upgrades to be able to earn more stars, here this logic is completely ruined;
3. Using of bombs isn't "very" useful because of the delay, many times you get hit by your own bombs;
4. The escort missions are a bit ridiculous, the ally gets killed because my ally is just Mindless... lots of times during the ride just turns around like a cockroach and gets killed and I cannot do anything about it, even bounce that car back on wheels.

PS

After returning to the game after few years I discovered another stupid thing: despite I got over 50% health the game can just stop a normal mode level at some point telling you that you failed.

What can I say? A great idea unfortunately ruined by partially not necessarily good execution. The music is nice, the graphics of the background is great, as well as its animations, but... and here are the "buts":
1. Those Chinese or Japanese symbols during the fight are highly disturbing. You are preparing an attack or trying to evade and then - symbol pause - and after that you get attacked. Change it so there would be some kind of a mark in the corner saying that the rage mode is active etc.
2. Another irritating thing: during the fight the enemies are leaving the screen and even you can kick them out of it, making it completely impossible to know whether the enemy is dead, where he is... lock the borders during the rounds of the fight.
3. The attacks that you are buying are suposed to be unblockable, but in fact they are not. Many times the enemies were blocking my special attacks or even attacking me at the same time.
4. Every single time you enter the new chapter or go back from the shop screen you have to click the screen, because the game loses focus.
5. As it was already mentioned below, it can happen that after the regular fight or a boss fight you will get stucked with nothing to do. No mission end screen, no more enemies and no way to die. The only thing to do is restart the game, but with losing ALL of your progress, including upgrades. It happened to me after beating one of the bosses, causing a LOT or rage. Thus => 6...
6. Make tha game save progress after each finished round, so people won't get irritated because of that issue. Also consider that some of the people may not have enough time to finish the game in one playthrough because they are working, studying, learning... and the levels are long and by that I mean the space you need to pass.
7. Many times Billy was starting to run despite I did not press the directional key in the way to make him do it.
8. About running: that "breaking" may be a nice animation, but it's a bit ridiculous, come on, who stops running like this? ;-)
Whoa, that were lots of points :-) But I must say that in general I like the game, but it needs a lot of improvements. The controls are easy to learn and even master, you also need to plan a good strategy in some fights against inconvenient opponents. I would even like to play an extended version with more stages, enemies, maybe upgrade scheme. There is lots of potential in this idea, go for it! :-)

Controls are just terrible in this game, especially jumping... extremely unresponsive...

The idea is interesting, but the execution - not that perfect. The problem is hit detection. Many times I was absoulutely sure I wasn't touching anything, but the game decided that I got killed. On the other hand when I am standing just next to the enemy and using the sword, it works like this: hit - miss - hit - miss, only 1 in 2 attacks is a hit. Why? Also the enemies' projectiles can easily pass my sword even if I am currently swinging it and it is exactly in the same position as the projectile.

Few things:

1. Make the game clear the screen when you are buying lives, because at the current state often it is completely pointless - you lose lives instantly after you go back to the game.
2. You write a lot about what you have done while creating the game, but there is no description of the game itself and this is the most important. For example - what are the darts for?
3. The slowing down seems to be not working, I already bought 2 upgrades of this and the balloons did not slow down. Or it is being activated in some way? Again - no description.

ErnieTheMighty responds:

Thank you so much for this feedback!

I'll add appropriate description right now! :D

I'll try to fix the lives problem on the next update. o7

The game is good and challenging, but I'm not sure if all the combinations of falling balls are avoidable. You should also expand the gaps between them - not to make the game easier, but because sometimes after one spin the "gate" is not responding immediately to another pressing of the arrow key and we got a fail. Oh - and those ads every few reloads are a bit irritating...

DemoBoy responds:

Cheers. I'll sort the ads out so they show less frequently.

A very good game with lots of potential! :-) I hope this is only a demo and you will even expand it, because it has a chance of even being an RPG. You could for example add some abilities of the character, earning experience points, gaining levels etc. Also the math operations could become even harder at the later stage, because currently they are rather easy ones. Oh, and there is definitely more potential for adding medals ;-)

IRGS responds:

These will all be implemented later on, I thank you and appreciate your opinion.

Interesting idea! What can I say? Another good game :-) But what is even more interesting: looks like selfdefiant became the citizen of the Mouse City! No more Melting Mindz? I already noticed one difference: less points for medals ;-)

The game is not insanely hard, it is manageable, I only hate you a bit because of the level in which there is a completely dark corridor and that slowly moving red block, it is constantly ruining my attempts to get the Touhou medal ;-) I also wonder what are some of the secret medals about, like Aint Portal or Wall Simulator. For others - I got some ideas that need checking.
There is also one thing that made me take a whole star from the game: the controls.
I'd like to ask why are you discriminating people that prefer arrow keys for movement? ;-) The same is about your - great ones - Strawberry games (waiting for more of them).
Back to controls issue: with the arrow keys I would probably earned more of the medals already, because my right hand+arrows=power ;-) But my right hand hates wasd and my left hand with that controls is not that good as my right hand with arrows. I also completely don't understand why many developers think that if somebody is a right-hander then should like the wasd more. I personally hate this scheme.
Concluding: make changes so the player could choose which control scheme wants to use :-)

The game is a great-and hard skill-avoid one, but definitely there has to be some mess with the secret medals. I presume they depend on the score, but if so, then everybody with the score higher than @fuckoffasshole's should have obtained the Maximum Speed medal, while @Kabuya and @TheGearBrother did not. Also with his score, @DJDarkDash should have easily had all of the medals. Presuming from the moment it unlocked for me, maybe even @NeonSpider should have also earned the Super Speed medal. That issue has to be fixed.

CoderTomato responds:

The issue has been fixed. Although I have sent you a Private Message explaining the issues in detail.
