The idea is good, but I've got some suggestions, I also noticed some bugs.
At first the bugs:
1. Once after entering the tutorial after being killed I entered the summary screen with the info about the waves survived etc.
2. Then when I tried to enter the game I was playing with no forest but with the tutorial screen in the background;
3. At this time when clicking on the game buttons I was also firing arrows
4. and suddenly the man that I control dissappeared and the game got stucked with no enemies and no archer.
Suggestions:
1. Make the archer able to move left/right;
2. Balance the power of arrows in the beginning and the speed of the enemies, because it is impossible to kill most of the enemies and especially the boss;
3. I assume that possibilities of doing upgrades will be added later?
4. As already if you hold the left mouse button you keep firing, maybe considering an autofire mode?
It is a good base for further development :-)

One basic question: how do I control the penguin?

The reaction is way too slow, or there is no reaction or the reaction is somewhat weird. The game itself is too slow.

In the description you write that I should use the arrow keys to move while in the game is the wasd scheme used.

The opponents are not very challenging, even in Olympic final run, you could add some medals in paralell to the achieveents. Some of them are not unlocking. About the time trial: is this the "global" world record or for my "personal use" only? If the latter, you could create a base of the records with a highscore list.

[Slippy Penguin]

What are the keyboard cntrols in this game? Because by using only mouse and clicking the hands the game is unplayable. After a while I figured that a and d work, but it would be better to enable the arrows as well.

This is great! I intentionally stopped clicking to let the rocket go and gain speed by itself and just enjoy the ride. And after returning to Earth I say that this journey was EPIC! I could listen to this music for hours and read these hillarious dalogues, they should make a movie based on the characters from this game!

[Rocket Dodge]

I encountered a bug that allows to rise the score up to eternity: after one of deaths the game restarted, but without the ship or rather invisible ship, but the game is still going.
